In-Home Care: (Help in Your Home)

The In-Home Services program provides services based on Medicaid eligibility of age, blindness or disability and a person requires personal care assistance from another person as an alternative to long-term care in a nursing facility. In-home services include assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) which include: eating, dressing/grooming, bathing/personal hygiene, mobility (ambulation & transfer), elimination (toileting, bowel and bladder management), and cognition/behavior. Assistance is also provided for instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) which include: shopping, housekeeping, meal preparation, assistance with medication & oxygen and transportation.
